Always Something Growing
Every meeting is an experience. Whether it's a hands-on workshop, a guest speaker, a field trip, or a festive potluck — we make sure each gathering is worth your morning. Meetings are mostly Tuesday mornings, with a few Saturdays, and we gather at the Littleton Fire Station, 20 Foster Street, the Congregational Church, 330 King Street, or a member's home. Social time starts at 9:00 am and the meeting at 9:30. Field trips depart by carpool from the Fire Station. Guests are always welcome. Come once, see what we're about.
ANNUAL EVENTS
🌱 Annual Plant Sale* — May, Littleton Common Our popular member plant sale at Littleton Common. A beloved local tradition and a great place to find unusual varieties straight from fellow gardeners' collections. Open to the public. Members bring ten or more plants from their own gardens.
🌳 Arbor Day Tree Giveaway — Every spring, the club provides a tree to every Littleton third grader at Russell Street School in honor of Arbor Day* — planting roots in the next generation of stewards. Trees are kindly supplied by the Littleton Shade Tree Committee.
🎨 Garden Crafts with Kids — Members visit the Reuben Hoar Library to lead hands-on garden crafts and nature activities.
🎄 Littleton Holiday Bazaar — Saturday, December 5 The club hosts a table at the annual Littleton Holiday Bazaar at the Littleton Middle School, offering handcrafted arrangements and seasonal items to raise funds for civic projects.

🦋 The Magic of Monarchs
Exquisite and fragile, yet strong enough to migrate thousands of miles, monarch butterflies have captured our imaginations with their beauty and complexity. Littleton residents Elke Jahns-Harms and her husband Garth have come to know these magical creatures well while documenting their transformation up close. 🌸 Preparing for the Holidays with Michael Spanos
Inside our cozy homes, our senses are elevated by the fresh pine scent of evergreens, bright red berries, and sparkling lights. 🧰 Getting to Know You — Bring Your Favorite Tool
January is a slow time of year, when winter winds blow and the mailman delivers garden catalogs to browse for the coming spring. The dirt is frozen, so this is a great time to clean our rusty tools, check our bushes and trees, and look through the catalogs. Bring your favorite tool and a warm cup of your favorite brew. 🌿 Invasives: Is There a Better Way?
Most of us are all too familiar with Japanese knotweed, Tree of Heaven, garlic mustard, and Oriental bittersweet. 🌳 Field Trip — Spring Is Here!
Garden in the Woods What better way to welcome spring than a walk in Garden in the Woods, Framingham? A one-mile guided tour of this naturalistic botanic garden focused on New England's native plants, with a wide variety of species and the history of the garden. Carpool leaves the Fire Station around 12:00 pm for the 1:30 pm tour.
